My name is Matt Ortiz. I am the lead installer for Hello Garage of Deer Park!
I was born and raised in Babylon, New York and I have been doing carpentry work for the past few years. Growing up, my family owns a few horses and other farm animals so I was always working around the farm, fixing up the stables and maintaining the animals.
When the opportunity to work for Hello Garage of Deer Park came up, it was something I couldn't pass on. My experience in the carpentry/construction field matches up super well with Hello Garage's mission.
I am super into bodybuilding and work out in my own garage. We have done a few garage remodels, specifically for people who are looking to make their garage a home gym. After me and my team finished creating their dream garage gym, I am definitely going to be next on the list!
