    Which items add value to your life? If there is anything you haven’t used in the past 12 months, odds are that it may be time to donate or sell some of your stuff.

    Here is what to keep in mind when deciding what to do with the items cluttering up your garage.

    • Donate things like old tools or other gently used items that you don’t use
    • Keep the things you regularly use or for seasonal items that you have used in the past 12 months.
    • Sell things that would be of good value and someone else could use, there are a lot of social media spots that you can easily sell items just by posting a picture and quick description.
    • Trash the things that you aren’t using – if you have paint or other chemicals research local places where they will safely dispose of the material.
  • Clean it up
